I shot this group of flowers at the Dallas Botanical Gardens.
I enjoyed their stately look, so regal.
If you look carefully, you can see a series of spider webs running off the center flower.

I love these spunky, spiky, purple flowers. They grow nice and tall so it is easy to get great shots of the backs of the flowers. They also look wonderful in their glory against a big blue sky.

Trying out my new Canon camera on the flowers at Hermann Park.
Thinking of adding this one to the Behind the Scenes portfolio of the backs of flowers.
I love the soft contrast between the colors and the drops of dew holding to the petals.

Morning sunlight is wonderful for highlighting these intimate moment with flowers.
Although the spider might have moved on, her web is still present
and making an interesting architecture of the flower.
